With Networking as the focus of this summer meeting, many new contacts were made and old ones built on. Then energetic speaker Kathleen Tomes, Co-founder of Future Think, Inc. entertained the attendees with her presentation on "Being Extraordinary: Outshining Your Competition". She gave examples of moving through a chaotic world and learning how to get through with success. She defined magnetic, transparent and results-oriented and encouraged the tables to share their assessments of themselves. She gave us practical tactics to move through barriers that impede growth, such as knowing what you want and asking for it. Great tips to succeed!

Guests were then treated to Fleming's "Night of Discovery" (an exploration of perfectly paired food and wine). The evening featured four wines new to Fleming's 100 with innovative appetizer pairings: unwooded Australian Chardonnay with asparagus, California Viognier with mango stuffed shrimp, French Pinot Noir with tuna, Canadian Merlot with beef, and a smooth after dinner aperitif with a delectable chocolate dessert.
